Founder
I’m Bobby Orr, founder of OrrNova Financial. My passion is helping people make smarter, clearer, and more confident decisions with their money.
My perspective comes from years of executive leadership experience in large, complex organizations where disciplined planning, people leadership, operational execution, and financial decision-making all had to work together.
I served in a Senior Director-level role with Walmart Stores Inc., leading large-scale store operations and developing leaders in a fast-moving, results-driven environment. I also bring Director-level experience from Dollar General and H&R Block, where I continued building teams, improving performance, and helping people turn strategy into action.
That leadership background is a major part of OrrNova Financial. I have seen firsthand how better education, stronger habits, and clearer decisions can change outcomes for individuals, families, teams, and communities.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and have been actively investing for more than 25 years, gaining hands-on experience through market cycles, economic shifts, and evolving investment strategies.
I’ve completed the educational coursework required for the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and am preparing for the CFP® Board Certification Exam.
My mission is to make financial literacy accessible, practical, and motivating for people who want to build a stronger future.
OrrNova Foundation
Financial confidence is built step by step. This roadmap shows the ten core principles that guide better decisions, stronger habits, and long-term financial progress.
Progress does not require a perfect starting point. Small decisions made early can grow into meaningful results because time gives good habits room to compound.
Financial strength begins when you create space between what you earn and what you spend. That margin becomes the fuel for saving, investing, and future choices.
Systems beat willpower. Automating savings, investing, and bill management helps you stay consistent even when life gets busy or motivation fades.
Income matters, but ownership builds wealth. Investing gives your money a job so it can grow beyond what your paycheck alone can provide.
A strong plan protects progress from setbacks. Emergency savings, insurance, and thoughtful planning help keep one bad event from becoming a financial crisis.
The best financial plan is one you understand and actually follow. Clear goals, simple steps, and visible progress make better decisions easier to repeat.
Your earning power is one of your greatest assets. Building knowledge, skills, confidence, and discipline can open doors that money alone cannot.
Money should serve the life you want to build. A purpose-driven plan connects daily choices to real goals like freedom, stability, family, and opportunity.
Debt can either help you build or hold you back. High-interest and careless debt steals future income, limits choices, and slows financial progress.
Financial growth needs regular review. Tracking your numbers helps you see what is working, fix what is not, and keep moving with intention.
